Clearing - Part of the Wolf Spirits Pack Territory

As the gentle breeze whispers through the clearing, the pine tree tops swaying, the scent of of many wonderful things lingering within the air. There is a medium sized creek that runs on the edge of the clearing and freezes over during the winter time. Pine trees and oak trees surround the entire clearing. Below are some pictures of the clearing.

The Seasons of WolfSpirits

During the Spring Season
During the spring, the clearing suddenly springs alive with life all over. The Chumani (Tear Drop) creek slithers near the clearing pumping fresh mountian water into the area. Seeing how spring and summer is so precious to life within Alaska, each moment is spent enjoying every minute of this warm gift of the sun. Baby fawns are being born, rabbits multiply by the hundreds and birds chirp happily into the air. The snow has melted, and the long, lush green hairs of grass begin to grow. The breeze suddenly dies down, and the sun shines brightly in the sky, sending the rays of warmth all around the clearing. The snow has also melted from the mountaintops, sending fresh, clean, mountain water to slowly flow through the running creek within the clearing. The water sparkles inviting a wolf to come lap up the refreshment of a hot summer day. There also is a swimming hole, so when the summers get extremely hot then a wolf can go take a jump in, and cool themselves off, after that you can lounge underneath a tall shady oak tree, and let the gentle breeze pass along your coat of fur, cooling you off, and letting you relax. A large ray of wild flowers grows, all around the clearing and inside it as well. It sends a wonderful aroma into the air, being carried by the wind. It tickles your nose, and plays around with your senses only sending the best fragrance into mind.

During the Rainy Season
Throughout the clearing, and throughout the lands of Alaska, everything seems to be soaking up the water. The scent of freshly wet forest looms all around the clearing. Everything smells fresh and new. There are small beads of water that form on the leaves of trees and bushes, slowly dripping down onto your head. The sound of the rain is heavenly, just sit under a large oak tree and watch the beautiful nature of Alaska truly come alive. Everything is lush and green! It seems that life looks brighter all of a sudden. The sky is grey with rain clouds, slowly passing by only to stay a while giving the clearing a little wash down. Everything smells, sounds and feels new and fresh. The sound of the rain falling down in the clearing can sing any wolf to sleep. Its just SOOOO beautiful when it rains!

During the Winter Season
In the snow, everything seen is frozen in time, it seems that all life has suddenly stopped, caught in a world of pure cold hearted weather. But everything is much alive. As you wake up, you see a white blanket of snow, crested all around you. The virgin snow glitters, and the small sparkles of frozen water dance around in the air. The creek is frozen over, entrapping the fish inside, making for a wonderful cool treat if a wolf could break open the ice and reach a free meal. The trees rest dusted with snow on top of their branches, and some give way from the weight of the newly fallen snow. Rabbits now blend in with their new, frozen surroundings. As some times the moon shines through the clouds breaking free from the cold and dark nights. The moons long, white rays shine on top of the snow, sending little rainbows of color into a wolf's eyes. Giving this cold, frozen time a beautiful look. During the winter it gives off this odd feeling all around the clearing. The wolves dance around in the snow, play around with a small ball of snow, that formed there that night, only to rest on their muzzle to be licked off, or flicked off in play. As you see, winter is much alive in the clearing.

The Chumani Creek Wapeka Tree - Part of the Wolf Spirits Pack Territory
As you wander through the forest trying to find your way through the over towering tree's, it seems at this point so many things lay in your way, causing strainful obstacles, but for some reason... there's a natural drive, forcing you to push onward. As soon as you clear some tree's and jump over a winter beaten log, you find yourself upon a small hill, you note that it heads up and almost to the sky, so there must be something behind it. You gently reach your muzzle up, to look ahead, your pace quickens as your heart races back and fourth in your loyal chest. Finally you reach the hill and what do you come upon! A clearing. You've stumbled upon a wolf pack. You meet new wolves here, and become friends with the Alpha's, beta's and members of the pack, You've stumbled upon the clearing. After being welcomed with warm chuffs and happy tail wags, you find yourself thirsty from all the excitement!

Beyond the clearing about a half mile in the woods to the northeast the temple ruins reside. Large pillars at least a thousand years old stand sentry over the enterence. Two large wolf statues would be at the front of it, broken and weathered. As you proceed on you will find your paws beginning to touch the old broken pathway that used to pave the wooded floor providing perhaps a highway of sorts. As you continue on you will find the smell of moss stagnent in the surrounding area and there ahead would be a large, half broken structure. At the top would be beautiful carvings of a story that seemed of great importance to the builders of such a fine establishment. Moving up the incline of stairs you will find yourself within the inside of a broken building. There at one point used to be rooms and hallways but now it was simply...caved in. A forgotten time in history now remains in the etchings upon the walls of this beautiful place.

The forest holds a great mystery and all wolves can sense this. The surrounding forest where the pack resides would hold a gentle whisper almost as if the very breeze herself could not find her way through the winding obstacles of tall timber. Sun would shine brighter in some areas, that where light could actually penetrate the tall canopy above. The thick woods would provide pristine shelter and greener grasses throughout the year. When one enters these sacred woods they will find themselves in sheer awe and a tingle of being alone and surrounded by nature herself would bring you back to the very roots of your birth. Who you are. A wolf amongst a overwhelming world.

Perhaps your next densite will be found in these beautiful, humbling woods.

To the north beyond the temple ruins and past the thick woods you will find yourself listening to the beautiful sounds of running water. The hush sound would be subtle at first before erupting into a crashing sound of water and stone. As you press on you come upon the sacred falls of WolfSpirits. A hidden sanctuary away from the cluster of noise that could be found in the clearing. Peace we all seek at some point and this would be highly sought out. One could find their true muse here. Gentle cascading waters would fall against the smoothly carved rocks and a few sandbars provide warm sand to rest a tired and wary body.
